Scottish
Building Standards Agency
Building Warrants in
Scotland
On 1st May 2005 new building regulations came into force in Scotland, with
more stringent rules for electrical work carried out as part of work
covered by a building warrant.
Stirling Electrical Services
Ltd. have been appointed as an Approved Body and we employ Approved
Certifiers of Construction (Electrical Installations to BS7671), under the
new Local Authority Building Warrant Scheme, which is the Certification of
Construction (Electrical Installations to BS7671).
Electrical Installations
Certification involved within Building Warrant work in domestic and
non-domestic should now be completed by an Electrical Approved Body and
Certifier under the new Scottish Building Regulations 2004.
Stirling Electrical Services
Ltd. can now carry out this work for customers throughout Scotland and we
will provide full electrical installation and the necessary building
standards certification required under the new scheme, allowing the
process of your local authority passing the building warrant work, much
easier and less time consuming and at less expense to you the customer.
